Privacy policy
The short version: we don't ask who you are, we don't track you, and your answers and progress stay on your own device.

Who we are
The Full Marks (thefullmarks.co.uk) is run by Bluemint Services FZCO. For anything about privacy, email hello@thefullmarks.co.uk.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, logins, names, email addresses, dates of birth or school names.
- No advertising, no advertising cookies, and no tracking of individuals across sites.
- We never sell or share data about you.
What stays on your device
So the site can remember your progress without an account, some things are saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device only. We cannot see them.
- Answers and marks from practice sessions and the Check-Up.
- Your mock exam results, and your answers to a mock paper you haven't finished.
- Your revision plan and which sessions you've ticked off.
- Settings such as your tier, target grade and light or dark theme.
You can delete them at any time with "Clear all progress on this device" on the My progress page, or by clearing your browser's site data. They are used only to provide features you have asked for, so no consent banner is needed.
Report links you share
When you share a Check-Up report, the results are stored inside the link itself, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of a link to our servers, so we never receive the results. Anyone you give the link to can see the report, so share it only with people you choose.
Information our hosting provider processes
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website, when you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We use this only in aggregate, for example to see how many people use a page. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. We also count, anonymously, how often each question is attempted and answered correctly, to improve the questions, and how often each tool is used (for example, how many mock exams are started and finished, or worksheets made), to decide what to build next. These counts never include what you typed, your scores on a tool, or anything that identifies you.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: running a secure, working website and improving it.
Children
The site is designed for GCSE students (usually aged 14 to 16, and older students resitting) and their parents. Because we don't collect personal details from anyone, children can use every feature without giving us information about themselves. We follow the principles of the UK Information Commissioner's Children's Code: high privacy by default, no nudging, and collecting as little as possible.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Because we don't hold personal information linked to you, in most cases there will be nothing to provide, but you are welcome to ask at hello@thefullmarks.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we ever add accounts or collect more information, we will update this policy first and explain the change clearly on the site.
